Lagoon-like beach. Popular for snorkelling and Families. Reached via the caravan park.

Spoon Bay Beach  
Another small and quiet beach with fairly safe bathing.

2 klms of high surf and rips. Nearby lagoon for safer swimming.

Terrigal Beach 
Reasonably safe beach with smaller rips. 
Rock Pool at southern end.

North Avoca Beach  
Known for its strong North Easterly swell. Swim between the flags

Separated from Copacabana Beach by Cochrane Lagoon.

An enjoyable little beach offering safe swimming. 600m walk through Bouddi National Park. Camping via permit.

Maitland Bay
Secluded & safe and beautiful. 1.5klm walk from Mt Bouddi or Old Maitland store. Moderate 600+ steps walk but the webmaster thought it was well worth it. Leave the surfboard and fishing rods behind. Great for a snorkel.

Putty Beach - Killcare Beach
In Bouddi National Park. Swimming relatively safe. Beware the rips. Camp with permits. Popular for surfers and Families. Good Car Parking and access to the Beach.

Ettalong Beach  
Well protected and safe for families. Easy access from Ettalong Town

Popular Family beach. Often crowded in Summer. Swim between the Flags. Rips.
